This was my first Shamanic journey into what is called the Lower World (not to be confused with the Underworld LOL ...)
I began the journey by sitting on some rocks in the southwest. I began to go down through some cracks in the rocks which became like a tunnel. When I emerged into a semi-open area I saw what looked like a cave made of giant clear shiny crystals. They were enormous compared to the small dot of light that I had become. I noticed that they seemed very angular and the light reflected brilliantly off of them.

Wanting to continue on with my journey I found that if I went off to the right and around a corner I could find my way out of the crystal cave. I came upon a darker area but off in the distance I could see a bright white light. For some reason I didn't go toward that light, instead I found myself going off to the left and over amazing landscapes unlike any I'd ever seen before. In the beginning the landscape was made of mammals. They were enormous and one animal laying right on top of another with no space at all in between them. Slowly the landscape began to be made of reptiles, snakes, lizards and alligators, etc ... I continued on still as a tiny speck of light. The landscape then changed to insects, spiders and all the creepy crawly things. For some reason this was not at all frightening. Micro-organisms were next, getting more and more microscopic until I felt like I was traveling over a landscape made of cells and even particles inside of cells.
I looked ahead of me a bit and saw what appeared to be lava flowing from a volcano. I stopped where I was and watched in awe as the lava began to flow closer and closer toward me. At this point the journey was ending and I turned around and followed the same path back as I took there. I passed the micro-organisms, the insects, the reptiles and the mammals. I passed the white light in the distance and turned and went back through the crystal cave. I had a hard time finding the crack I'd traveled through to get there but I eventually did and came back out sitting on the rocks in the southwest again.
